Pouring Beer at Howley Legacy Roundup

March 19, 2021by Misty Sanford

The year 2021 is all about experiences for us. So when Brandon Howley from Happy Hollow Ranch asked if we would be part of the, we couldn’t say yes any faster. Beer and beef on a beautiful Texas spring weekend?? Of course.

The moment we met Brandon and his lovely wife, Stefnie, it was like we were long-lost friends. Like us, they have a passion for what they do, and it is truly a family business. We’re all making our little place in this world, and we can’t wait to help them celebrate their milestone moment and all that they have accomplished over the last year.

A note from Happy Hollow.

We’re opening up our annual cattle roundup (typically a private family event) to the public for a free-range weekend full of fun, great food by our favorite chefs, merch, and the best entertainment!

Roundups are a moment in time for a ranch to take stock, draw close to their community and live up to the echo of past generations of ranchers by carrying the tradition with us into the future.

This year’s roundup takes a deeper meaning for the Howley family. It is not just a highlight of our founder’s amazing accomplishments but a nod of the cowboy hat from Chuck and a passing of the torch to the next generation will stand watch over Happy Hollow Ranch.

The annual cattle roundup is a tradition to pay homage to the old cowboy ways and carry a little of the past forward with us into the future. It is one of the most important times of the year for many ranchers to take a true accounting of their herds and gather data to see where we need to make improvement. Our roundup is also a time to build bonds with family, neighbor, and the occasional friendly strangers.

We can’t wait to meet y’all and make new friends through this year’s event!

Join us at the ranch on Friday or Saturday, or both! We will be pouring beer and enjoying the escape from the city!
