FAVORITES

Team favorites at the moment
HALF-LIFE
HAZY IPA
6.2% ABV | 33 IBU

Half-Life is always a crowd favorite for both craft beer aficionados and those new to the beer scene. It is an unfiltered Northeast inspired IPA with an aroma that is interesting without being overpowering. Upon first sip, you will immediately pick up on the citrus characteristics. Soon to follow will be stone fruit and pine. But this is not a bitter IPA, friends. It is perfectly balanced with a focus on the delicious aroma. Half-Life finishes with a subtle and wheaty breadiness. It’s so perfectly light and crisp that it would be an amazing session beer if it weren’t for the 6% ABV, so sip and enjoy.
RED GATE
AMBER LAGER
5.4% ABV |

Red Gate, our Amber Lager, has a rich toasted bread character and notes of light caramel. It is a beautiful red color with a lovely dry and crisp finish. It is made for bbq and sports (watching or playing) and transitions easily from summer to fall and back again.
COLD WAR
COLD IPA
7.1% ABV |

Cold IPA is an emerging trend that we hope sticks around. It’s dry, crisp, and hoppy. It is wester than a west coast and crispier than your favorite lager. It has a clean and assertive bitterness with a bold, dry finish that makes it craveable. But be careful. The 7.1% is as sneaky as the monkey.
FALLOUT
HEFEWEIZEN
5.3% ABV |

Fallout is a German-style hefeweizen with a soft mouthfeel and a balanced presence of clove and banana. This wheat beer is easy drinking with enough bitterness to offset the malt sweetness. It is also one of the most approachable and enjoyable beer styles that harkens backs to early beer days.

SCRATCH KITCHEN

(almost...we don't bake our buns)
THAI FRIED CHICKEN
Nothing pairs better with an IPA than fried chicken. Now add a little acid and spice that’s found in Thai food, and you have everything you need.

Our chicken is dredged in a gluten-free flour mix and then fried in beef tallow. It creates a beautifully crispy skin with flavors of coriander, cilantro, and garlic.
BACON CHEESEBURGER
This isn’t just any cheeseburger. We start with grass fed and finished beef from a local ranch. And then each burger is topped with aged cheddar, pickled green tomato, smoky bacon, and Hoppenheimer mustard.
SHRIMP AND GRITS
Divine is the only word to describe this dish. Blackened shrimp served over cheesy grits with the most delicious lemon butter sauce. We think we have the best shrimp and grits in town, but you should decide for yourself.
STEAK FRITES
Affordable steak frites are hard to come by. Until now. It started as a special, but your gentle nagging to bring it back made it a permanent menu item.

We know the steak and fries are supposed to be the star, but order it for the chimichurri sauce. It is bright and flavorful with just enough garlic.

A LOVE FOR SABRO

Every brewery has their favorite hop or even a signature hop. We’ve flirted with a few for a while, but we’ve never really landed on a single hop. Instead, we have a collection that plays together in various degrees of usage depending on the beer. And now Sabro is making its way into our rotation.

SUPPORTING OUR LOCAL RANCH

We made an exciting change in our kitchen. We have switched to a local grass fed and finished cattle ranch called Happy Hollow Beef! We thoroughly tested all the cuts, of course. And we even had side-by-side burger comparisons. Happy Hollow Beef always won. The flavor is a bit different than feedlot cattle. It is not gamey like some grass-fed operations, but it is much more flavorful than what you buy in a grocery store.
