The beer dinner with Cork & Growler is sold out, but don’t fret. We have another beer pairing opportunity happening this weekend!
To celebrate National Beer Day, Dallas Beer Club organized a 4-course beer pairing with LUCK, and we snagged two of the courses with Double Half-Life and Black Matter. Chef Daniel does a ridiculously good job pairing beer and food, so you don’t want to miss this one.
Now we need to help you pair Black Matter before it is gone for the summer! Let’s start with a few flavor profile details.
Our passion for coffee runs deep, so a coffee stout was pretty much a requirement. From first sniff to the finish, the coffee is evident, but not so evident that it is overpowering. You will also discover chocolate, cinnamon, and even a touch of vanilla in both the flavor and aroma. Stouts like this are best paired with dessert, but if you must eat an entrée, make it a rare rib-eye.
Oysters. Make sure they’re fresh.
Espresso rubbed grilled rib-eye or beef short ribs. Both are a favorite in our home. We probably eat more red meat than most would be comfortable with, but you only live once.
Homemade tater tots with a grainy beer mustard dip. Or if you need something a little healthier, try lentils. It’s almost as delicious. If you close your eyes and pretend it’s a tater tot.
Rocky road brownie with vanilla beer ice cream. This will be served at the LUCK beer pairing this weekend. Reserve your spot!
There you have it. A complete meal for our beloved Black Matter.
