100-Ton Test Explosion

100-Ton Test Explosion, an event that’s about six months in the making, is happening this Saturday at 8 pm at The Bearded Monk.

When Ben from the Monk introduced us to Edgar Derby, we became fast friends. He’s a lyrical genius with raw vocals and a folk-pop style, both of which we’re obsessed with.

Derby shares our passion for the Manhattan Project and the stories that came from it, so our collaboration was inevitable. I listened to two songs on Spotify before immediately shooting a quick text to ask what we needed to do to make him our house band in the taproom. Spoiler…it’s going to happen.

Due to ridiculous schedules that happen when you’re making beer and music, it takes a minute (or months) to get the event on the calendar. But it’s here now, and we could not be more excited. And yes, the timing ended up being purely coincidental.
