I dropped the kiddo off at school and stopped by a new (to me) coffee shop. It is always nice to have some quiet time before the day begins, but I also wanted to taste the competition.
We’re putting a lot of focus on our coffee program right now. We’ve hired a couple of serious coffee experts, and we’re continuously training every beertender to be as comfortable slinging spro as they are pouring beer. We want our morning taproom experience to be as sought after as our beer.
So back to my coffee excursion this morning. I hoped to take a seat and plan my day a bit, but I could only sit outside. It was chilly and damp, and I really wanted that comfy chair inside. If business owners and customers are uncomfortable with indoor seating, I get it. That’s the beauty of being an independent business owner and a customer with coffee options. You get to decide.
But it prompted me to do a little searching for a warm seat for my butt. To my surprise, so many shops are still closed. Hello, opportunity!
You guys, we have so many socially distanced seats inside our taproom coffee shop. And the coffee is damn good! We can be your “WFH” spot or a quiet moment with our super fast wifi. We also sell the most amazing pastries from Rush when we open at 7:30 am, and then our full menu is available at 10. And there’s beer. Do you need anything else? Nope.
