Our Wednesday specials are something our entire team looks forward to. Chef Mario has a running wish list from at least half a dozen team members. Sometimes it is an item that we know is not doable in our tiny kitchen for more than just a night (crab cakes), and other times it is an item we want to add to the menu, but we need to gauge interest first.
Last night was the latter. Affordable steak frites are hard to come by. Because we already make the best fries and aioli in town (not so humble brag), it was a no-brainer to at least try it.
I know the steak and fries are supposed to be the star, but I order it for the chimichurri sauce. It is bright and flavorful with just enough garlic.

You guys loved the steak frites, so it is a permanent menu item as of today!
