How We Release Beer

March 21, 2018by Misty Sanford2

We’re doing a lot of R+D lately, and when we were tasting yesterday morning, we were putting a bit of pressure on ourselves to get something new out. Double Half-Life was our last release. That was back in November, which feels so long ago. Of course we have a list of beers we’re working on, but we are always, and probably always will be, slow to produce them commercially.

Our mission is to produce only world class beer, and we’re sticking to it. It is a big part of the reason why we bootstrapped this project in the beginning. We didn’t want potential investors dictating what we brewed or how many new styles we released. Manhattan Project needed to remain focused on quality by producing only what we love. Period.

Sometimes it takes us awhile to get to something we feel is world class, and we’re okay with that. We don’t have a set release schedule. When we did, we missed the targets. Now we release when the beer is ready.

And just because the beer is ready, that doesn’t mean the market is ready. We want to be your guide on your beer journey. We want to be the brewery to introduce you to your next style or flavor profile. Figuring out what you and the market want before you even know what you want takes time.

So hang tight. We have some new delicious beer coming soon.

Love your view about producing new beer. I know it is world class because you two are perfectionists!!!!!
