We planned a handful of taproom only releases for March and April, and well… You know the rest.
Rather than keeping all of the beer to ourselves, we’re pushing out as much as we can to growler bars all across the metroplex. We know that making a trek to Downtown Dallas to support us isn’t necessarily feasible right now, even for essential business. Now you can support your favorite local growler shop AND get access to our latest releases!
The first beer we’re releasing is X-10, an extra pale ale coming in at 6.2%. A trip to Australia three years ago inspired the beer. Aussies keep their beer lower on the ABV (because they get taxed by ABV!), and they tend to use fewer hops than American breweries. The result is fantastic beer that is somehow a crowd-pleaser without being a snooze.
We intended to keep X-10 in the 5% range, but it crept up to 6.2%. Darn. It uses some of our favorite hops, Galaxy and Nelson Sauvin. The hops shine, but don’t overwhelm you, just like our Aussie favorites.
X-10 is a beer you just drink. You don’t analyze every sip and get nerdy about it. Drink it and enjoy it, and quarantine. It pairs well with your favorite album and a zoom with friends.
With each growler bar release, we will update this google map of participating locations. The map will be updated daily as bars take delivery. You can also fill a growler/crowler in the taproom!
