We’re starting to feel like professional brainstormers because we’re perpetually trying to come up with ways to keep the beer flowing. Our taproom manager, Dan, had a brilliant idea last week. Crowler flights.
It is so good, right?! Order a crowler flight, and then you and your quarantine partner(s) can have your tasting at home.
To be honest, you guys asked for it. We’ve received about a dozen requests to order flights, but we can’t send you home with open containers. That’s when Dan said we should do it in crowlers. And the moment those words came out of his mouth, I saw a look of panic cross his face. I mean, someone has to fill those crowlers, and most days, he is that someone.
I let Dan and the team get hit with a couple of exciting crowler releases to get their practice. They’re pros now, and we’re ready to be flooded with flight requests.
To keep things organized and to ensure we can fulfill orders, we’ve preset the four beers in the flight. It is four completely different styles, so that it will be a fun tasting.
X-10 | Extra Pale Ale. 6.2%
Quite possibly the best quarantine beer on the planet. Mostly because you can drink it all day and not grow tired of it.
Reaction | Dry Hopped Saison. 6.9%
The flavor is fruity and citrusy with a spicy yeast character you expect from a Saison.
Double Half-Life | Hazy IPA. 8%
Do we really need to describe this one? I’m pretty sure a heart emoji will suffice.
Inception | Belgian Brown. 7.1%
It might be a bit daunting with its brown color, but the fantastic aroma of toasted nuts, banana, caramel, and raisin creates a pleasant surprise.
